Central strength member (CSM):  steel wire with plastic oversheathing
Loose tube :  thermoplastic material (PBT), filled with jelly compound
Fire barrier :  fire resistant mica/glass over loose tubes
Fibers color-code :  according to EIA/TIA 598
Fillers :  thermoplastic rods, where needed
Cable core :  loose tube (and fillers), SZ stranded around the CSM
Inner jacket : flame retardant LSZH compound
Metallic armour : galvanised steel wire braid (GSWB), tinned copper wire braid (TCW) or galvanised steel tape armour (GST)
Outer jacket : flame retardant LSZH compound SHF1 UV stabilized

Marking (printed) :  APS Finland – month/year – QFCI or QFOI or QFNI – FIBER OPTIC CABLE – FIBER COUNT + TYPE – IEC 60331-25 [180min] – IEC 60332-3-22/24 – Batch No – Meter marking
