Design
Optical fiber : 125/250μm Single Mode G.655.D
Buffer : PBTP loose tube filled with jelly, housing 6 fibers (nom. outer diameter 2.5 mm)
Cable core : 8 tubes SZ stranded together around the central strength member, watertight.
Strength member : glass fiber reinforced material, PE sheathed.
Wrapping : dielectric tape.
Inner jacket : black LDPE material (nom. thickness 1.0mm ± 0.1mm). A ripcord is placed under the jacket.
Armour: bonded corrugated steel tape (nom. thickness 0.15mm).
Intermediate sheath : black MDPE material (nom. thickness 1.0mm ± 0.1mm).
Armour: bonded corrugated steel tape (nom. thickness 0.15mm).
Outer jacket : Black HDPE material, UV resistant
Marking : APS Finland – ww/yy – Armoured Fiber Optic Cable MT209EG fiber count x fiber type – P/N – lot + meter
