Central strength member: glass fiber reinforced plastic rod (FRP)
Tight coating : 850 ± 50 micron tight buffered optical fibres
Fibres color- code : according to EIA/TIA 598
Fillers : if necessary
Cable core : up to 16 fibres are stranded around the central strength member
Peripheral strength elements : swellable aramide yarns
Inner jacket : flame retardant LSZH compound
Metallic armor for AICU: galvanized steel wire braid (GSWB)
Metallic armor for AIOU: copper wire braid (TCWB)
Outer jacket : flame retardant LSZH compound (SHF2-MUD) UV stabilized

Marking printed : APS Finland – AICU or AIOU MUD-RESISTANT – FIBER OPTIC CABLE – Fiber count + type – IEC60332-3-22 – Batch no + meter marking
